Did not test underwater, only found that the field of vision is less than that of my ScubaPro Solo.2 things are very desappointing on this mask:First, the frame of the mask is actually a poor piece of plastic and all the fancy different colors available when you order this mask will go away as soon as the edges touches the ground or something solid. It's actually a simple paint on the plastic.Second, the famous "420 glass" is not covering the whole surface of the glass, only in the middle. So what happen is: when you are looking through, you notice a weird difference between what's front of you and what's around.Definitely NOT what you expect from a mask with this price tag. So damn expensive for nothing. I am really not happy with this gear and I'm a fisherman, not a casual diver. Need tough gear, no fancy stuff that won't last 6 months. Right now all the paint is gone, it's looking awfull. Plus the way this 420 glass is done makes no sens while fishing. Gull may produce the best snorkels in the market (my opinion) but I really NOT RECOMMEND their masks.Tried a couple different masks and this was by FAR the most comfortable. I got the Gull Fanette for my smaller women’s face but would anticipate the regular Gull Vader would be pretty much the same. I like being able to be out for hours .. be comfortable and not return with strange marks all over my face. Plus, the polarized lenses are simply incredible .. not only for viewing under water but for sun glare when surfacing/ or simply head out of water. Highly recommend. Yes, they are pricey but wow, as is often said, you get what you pay for .. and in this case I couldn’t agree more.
