My 12 year old son LIT UP when I gave him this gift. This is now his costume and he is so excited as he is able to make any face on the screen and even put his own name or other words. To be honest, I kind of feel jealous that I don't have one. I might be getting one for myself too! I would DEFINITELY BUY THIS if you are on the fence as you will love it.100% Perfect Gift. Was shipped yesterday and came half charged. I plugged it into 4 different. I guess I'm not wearing my new costume. What at letdown. Also it doesn't connect Bluetooth and demands location permission for some reason. All in all do not recommend. Not worth the moneyThe battery doesn’t charge, says 4 bars. I take it off and it shows 3 Immediately. Then goes down to 2 after a few minutes. Ridiculous! This rechargable MOYACA LED mask arrived boxed with USB-C charging cable and user guide.Would be a great gift idea.Mask is rechargable, charges fast and keeps the charge well.It looks and feels well made from a decent quality materials. It is isn't very comfortable to wear and 'seats' quite far from the face. Straps are adjustable. The measurements are exactly as per listing description. It is Bluetooth compatible and App controlled. In order to use all the functions I had to install an App on my android mobile phone by scanning QR code.It seemed easy and fast to do, but I've decided not to install it.App wanted to have permission to access and collect data even when app is not in use and I couldn't find it necessary and justify the need for it.Without installing an App I was able to check only basic functions without customising option.LED colours are nice, but I had different mask which is much brighter. There is plenty of different patterns to choose from, some static, some are moving/gifs .It is very easy and straightforward to operate.Pattern can be changed with the hand wave.Nice mask with potential and many lighting modes, a bit pricey with unfriendly collecting data app.I'm looking forward to wearing this on Halloween and taking my granddaughters trick-or-treating this year. My granddaughters have already commented that I will be the coolest person in the dark. It's a great idea, and there's a nice selection of both animated and static designs and looks to choose from. The mask is controlled by an app that is simple to use. I like that I can not only choose from pre-made designs, but also create my own patterns, write my own text, and change the faces with hand gestures. Music integrations are also useful, especially at parties. It's not the most comfortable thing to wear, and I wouldn't wear it for long periods of time; instead, I'd wear it on and off in short bursts. I tried to load my own custom pictures and videos, but they just looked blurry, so I'll stick to the built-in ones. The mask can be charged via USB and runs for hours. Overall, a fantastic product for making your outfit stand out from the crowd. The product pictures pretty much tell you what you need to know in terms of what the mask looks like on.There are images, there are animations - and the gifs are better, more impressive and interesting, than the static images, but they are all heavily pixelated - as the product images relay, and you can also see not all the preloaded images in the description above even align properly with the masks eyes.So there is on this basis - out of the nicely presented packaging, a sense this is not a fully finished product. While you can load custom images they aren't well represented in the big pixels. In fact I'm not sure if I loaded a picture of my own face, that even my mother would recognise my handsome visage reproduced by the mask's "screen". This is because the quality of these custom images I found to be low.So a nice idea, but not effectively executed. That segues chaotically into the app.The app asks for permissions for about everything all of the time, including your spouse and then your firstborn, okay I jest a little, but only a little. The app looks quite good, but that first impression doesn't last as the using it proved bug laded - at least in respect to this mask.I took a picture of a face to then cast to the mask - going to the trouble of matching the overlay of eyes to the image,... and once I'd taken a photo nothing lined up.So let's step back a little to the actual business of making a connection, it seems logical given the app has asked for Bluetooth permissions access to location etc, that you can use Bluetooth? That option is there in the app.The app clearly services other similar products, a helmet type for example - so then I have to conclude the app is not specifically created for this mask. And the manual fails to be clear either way, you *can* it says connect via WiFi, and that was the only way I found I could connect. Is that must?Thing is I need a WiFi connection all the time when I am at home, as I live in rural location in a hollow, and mobile signal is next to non-existent, losing my WiFi / internet - means I lose my calls.Okay that's very much my mileage, but it's also a clunky way to connect to a device wherever you are.But it's not all bad, once you sit down and have a stiff drink looking at the asking price of £115, you can then uninstall the app and the image I had uploaded is still in the mask, along with the "40 static pictures and 35 animations".But not the hand written messages and "paint" like doodles.Which does free the phone, and that does make wearing the mask a more realistic propositionSo provided you have charged the mask for the 3-5 hours needed, you can party like it's Halloween or something.I haven't yet worn the mask until it is flat so I don't know how long it will run - or whether there is much difference in user time with static or animated mask images, but the description claims 8 hours. In addition when you at the party you can control the mask using gestures and the mask can be instructed to respond to the music.Which brings me to the very practical business of wearing the mask. I found it okay in terms of comfort, I have a big bald head, so in this respect my head is useful in determining whether the straps are comfortable to wear. The are large, which is probably why they don't dig in, and the impression is a hat or hood would give a better effect by framing the mask, and hiding these.Where the wearing experience was not so good was in the restriction of vision, the mask sits forward, and the eyes against a softly padded shaped cushion, also good in comfort terms, but the result is a tunnel effect that means you are wearing something like blinkers, as the side view is then constricted, and that becomes a safety aspect that I think needs consideration. This has bearing as to when and where you could wear the mask, driving and operating machinery are out then.As for that matter are glasses, if you wear corrective glasses, you'd need to forgo them, and if you especially short sighted and a glasses wearer - then this would make wearing the mask nigh impossible.I really wanted to like this, and in some ways had it being a cheaper dumber product, forgone the app, had just the preloaded images, or even a basic USB connection to load images/gifs into the internal memory as per a flash drive - I would have liked this better.I just feel to command the current asking price for what is a bit of fun for a party (unless you work as an entertainer or DJ) the device should have been easier to set up, connect effortlessly via Bluetooth, without raising privacy concerns -- and made a better fist of presenting both the preloaded and custom images, by adapting them to conform to the shape of the mask relative to the eye slots. In conclusion this is an expensive party piece and as a result has limited appeal, further limited by restricting vision and excluding those who wear glasses, but I can't help but feel there is a good product here, that hasn't yet been effectively realised.
