Carved from a single piece of environmentally friendly plantation grown mahogany. Lathe turned for uniform thickness. Bowl interior features lathe grooves and rough-surfaced carvings to eliminate overtones. Hand selected goatskin heads. Toca is committed to being green and environmentally-friendly. The wood we use is harvested from a plantation in Thailand, where our drums are then lathed and handcrafted by local musicians.
